Make Christmas a little brighter this year for our local children! The City of Monroe, Dollar General, Umpqua Bank, and South Benton Food Pantry are collecting gifts for the Monroe Community Toy Drive until 5 p.m. on December 16, 2024. For more information, click the title.

To help our community through the holiday months, the City of Monroe, Broadley Vineyards, Umpqua Bank, and the South Benton Food Pantry are teaming up and accepting commercially processed food (i.e., canned food) at Monroe City Hall, Broadley Vineyards, Umpqua Bank, and South Benton Food Pantry from November 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024. Schedule of Festivities & Holiday Fun!

Kick off the festivities on Saturday & Sunday, December 7th & 8th with the December Holiday Market at Lilliputopia, the tiny farm store, featuring handcrafted items from over 30 local artists including jewelry, candles, cards, agates, brooms, pottery and more! There will also be available organic seasonal produce such as squash, honey, grape juice and dried fruit. On Saturday, December 14th, the Monroe Holiday Shopping Event: Shop-Dine-Wine-Stay for the Monroe Light Parade begins at 10 a.m. and runs all day until 9 p.m. The fun continues all day with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the Grinch at Monroe Christian Church before the Monroe Light Parade starts at 7 p.m. Join us for a weekend packed with holiday magic, community spirit, and unforgettable memories!

IMPORTANT LIGHT PARADE ROUTE UPDATE: At the southwest corner of the route, the parade will turn from Orchard Street and head north on 9th Street, not 10th Street.
